EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is a method of exchanging data electronically with insurance companies using a modem. The EDI module from GTS, which is an optional feature, enables you to:
- Send electronic invoices to insurance companies
- Get paid faster
- Save time and effort by using EDI batch transmissions
- Receive notifications of acceptance or rejection of invoices sent
- Maintain accurate records
An effective EDI process depends on the submission of complete and accurate data to GTS Services, your EDI station. The EDI station translates your data into a form that your trading partner's and insurance company's computers will understand (trading partners include LYNX® and Safelite® , which serve as conduits between the glass shop and the insurance company).
