Why GoToAssist?

Sometimes it is difficult for you to explain the network or software issue you are experiencing, especially when you don't know the technical terms that are familiar to our support experts. We understand your frustration and desire to remedy your challenges as quickly as possible, GTS offers GoToAssist at no additional charge.

This desktop streaming product lets you and a member of our support team view the same computer screen. With a view of your workstation or network administrator desktop, our support staff can identify your problem and propose a quick solution. This makes the GTS support function more efficient, and it also saves you money. GoToAssist gets us on the same page immediately and nearly always yields a more rapid resolution than we can find through conversation alone.

Once the GTS Support Representative contacts you to let you know that they are ready to work with you,

  1. Select the name of your Representative from the drop-down list. Then click on the Click to proceed Button.
  2. Next, you'll see a screen that says "Contacting Your Representative- in a few moments you'll meet a live representative on your screen".
  3. Next, a box will pop up and ask you if you want to install and run chatlnk.exe. Click Yes
  4. You will see a new window called Chat.
  5. Next a box will pop up called "Screen Sharing" which will enable us to see your screen and share your mouse and keyboard. Click OK
  6. Lastly you will see a screen that says "your representative has arrived". We are now connected to your computer.
